Why We Don’t Always Do, What We Know To Do

Have you ever thought of doing something dumb, knew it was dumb, and did it anyway? And after doing so, the same chattery voice that induced you to do it, was now calling you stupid for having done it. We have all marched to that tune, but why? What would cause to do, what we know not to do?
We unknowingly march to the chatter in our head, whose purpose is to keep us where we are. Questionning our internal dialogue is important if our intention is to understand why we don’t always do, what we know to do.
